Newsday, published by Daily News Limited, is one of three daily newspapers serving the twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago. Founded on September 20, 1993, Newsday, though the youngest among the other dailies and the only one without radio and television direct affiliations, has held its own with its unique style of telling it as it is, leading the way with innovative design and presentation as a newspaper, priding itself in comprehensive coverage of all facets of life in its home base, and connecting with wider Caribbean and global audiences via the Internet.
